Four superb character holiday rentals, close to each other in an authentic rural hamlet in the Vendee countryside.
Within easy reach of the beaches of the Vendee coast and just 11 miles / 18km from a lake with beach and leisure facilities at Apremont. 3 miles / 5km takes to to the village of Le Poire sur Vie, offering a supermarket, basic shops, bar and restaurant.
12 miles / 19km takes you to La Roche sur Yon, the 'capital' town of the Vendee which offers a wide choice of shops, hypermarkets, bars and restaurants, summer events and an indoor fun-pool. There is also a superb forest adventure park at 28 miles/45km.
Well situated for visiting the Vendee coastline, being just 22 miles / 35km from the coastal resort of St Gilles Croix de Vie (attractive fishing port, sandy beaches) and within easy reach of Les Sables d'Olonne and St Jean de Monts. You will find many holiday activities and places to visit in the area, including the island of Noirmoutier (40 miles . 64km) accessed by the famous causeway at low tide and boat trips to the beautiful island of Yeu (1 hour by boat from St Gilles).
Weddings, family celebrations and events :
For special occasions, there is a large function room available for renting with the accommodation. Fully equipped with dining facilities and professional kitchen. This is only available when all four properties are rented together. Please enquire for rates. (Note that during the normal holiday rental season the function room is not used for other purposes, only when rented with the total accommodation.)
