A superb family beach holiday venue situated on the Vendee coast at Les Sables d'Olonne. Villa Tanchet is set on the sea front next to the lovely sandy beach of Le Tanchet. You have everything close at hand. There are shops from 1.4km, a water sports centre at 400m, restaurants within walking distance and a regular bus service into the town centre.
Exploring east along the sea-front cycle trail, you will find the charming rocky coves of La Baie de Cayola and you can check out the daily market at La Pironniere (1.4km). Going west takes you to the town centre of Les Sables d'Olonne (2km) with it's vast beach and bustling sea front. The town offers excellent amenities and loads of holiday activities. Cycle hire is available near to the villa or you can pre-book for delivery from Bike Hire Direct.

There are excellent cycling possibilities in the area around Les Sables d'Olonne, through the forests and the salt marshes with many signed trails. Local holiday activities include kiddies beach clubs, a paint-ball park, kite-surf and wind-surf, stand-up, sea kayaking, jet skis, scuba diving and a sailing school. Les Sables d'Olonne also has a zoo, a casino, night clubs, several museums, boat trips and the famous Spa centre.

The majority of the accommodation is on the first floor offering superb views to the sea.
Entrance lobby, leading to the ground floor annex suite and stairs to the first floor.
First floor :
Large open plan living area with vast windows looking out over the sea. Dining area and relax chairs with this lovely view. Cosy lounge area with TV. Pellet wood-burner for early and late season.
Leading off the dining area is the large kitchen which is very well equipped.
Double bedroom leading off the lounge (180cm bed). Double bedroom with open plan shower room (180cm bed). Bedroom with twin beds, a further single bed and wash basin. Bathroom. 2 separate toilets.
Ground floor annexe suite :
Not available with reduced rates for smaller groups.
Double bedroom (140cm bed), shower room with toilet, sitting room, kitchenette, sitting area and TV, patio doors to the terrace. A convertible settee offers more variation in the sleeping configuration, but the maximum capacity remains 9 people.
Exterior :
First floor deck with sea view and lounge furniture. Further terrace at garden level and sandy play area. Solar shower (ideal for washing off after the beach). Off-road parking for 2 cars (charging point for electric vehicles). Further free parking in available in the residential road behind.
