(The nearby chateau in the hamlet belonged to the wife of Napoleon I.) Whilst adjacent to the owners’ house the cottage is completely independent, with its own gated entrance drive, large lawn garden and secluded dining terrace. It benefits from use of the lovely 11m x 5.5m swimming pool (set in a child-friendly fully fenced area) and has access to a vast area of the logis park. There is a spacious kitchen with dining table and door the dining terrace, a large lounge with fireplace and TV, two comfortable bedrooms and two shower rooms.

The nearby village of St Germain de Princay (2 miles) offers a bakery, newsagents and pharmacy and the village of St Vincent Sterlanges (1 mile) has a bar/restaurant. It’s just a short drive to the town of Chantonnay (just over 4 miles) which has a selection of shops, a supermarket, several restaurants and weekly market. There is a lake with restaurant and children's play area at just 7 miles. Within easy reach of the beaches of the Vendee coast (La Faute sur Mer 38 miles) and the Green Venice area.
