Pair of coastal villas, with heated pool, near the beach, ideal for large groups or two families holidaying together. You can also let one villa (for 6 or for 4).

This pair of coastal villas is set in a calm spot near to pine forest, just ¾ of a mile from the nearest beach. The village and the port of of Jard sur Mer are at under 2 miles, where you will find shops, bars, restaurants, street market stalls and a weekly market selling local produce and sea-food. The nearby forest offers good opportunities for walking and cycling (cycle hire is available in the village). There is a tree-adventure park at Point du Payre (1½ miles)- ideal for older children, as well as the excellent surfing spot of St Nicolas. A signed rambling tail starts adjacent to the property, exploring the salt marshes and meadows, great for bird-watchers or just for an evening stroll.

The properties are together in their own grounds around the heated swimming pool and terrace area. There is a sloping lawn area to the front, and the access drive has gates from the road. The pool has a transparent cover which is propped open during the summer season and can be lowered to allow swimming in cooler weather at the start and end of the season. There is a pool safety alarm and the pool cover can be used for additional protection.

Accommodation comprises:

Villa 1 "Oceane" - Sleeps 6 (furnished in simple French style) Open-plan lounge/dining fitted kitchen (including dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, hob and mini-oven). Satellite TV (some international channels in English), DVD, fireplace (logs provided in low season). Utility room with washing machine. Two double bedrooms, twin bedroom, shower room with twin basins, separate toilet with basin. Garden dining furniture and awning, BBQ, electric heating, parking.
Wi-Fi Internet access (in or near Villa 1 "Oceane" only).

Villa 2 "Marine" - Sleeps 4 (more recent modern interior) Open plan lounge/dining with fitted kitchen (including dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, hob and mini-oven). Washing machine, tumble dryer, satellite TV (some international channels in english), DVD. Double bedroom with basin, twin bedroom with basin, bathroom (corner bath with shower over), separate toilet. Garden dining furniture, BBQ, electric heating, parking.

Pool 9m x 4.5m, depth 1.5m max, open and heated from 24/4 to 6/10. The pool is private when the pair of villas are let together for the same group.

Please note that there is an independant studio bedroom on site, with an independant access from the drive, that is used by the owners in order to be present for the changeovers, ie normally used from Friday evening to Sunday morning.
