La Bossardiere - Large character house with private pool, near the coast.

La Bossardiere is a character house offering nearness to the coast and easy access to the shops, restaurants and amenities of the town of Lucon. It is furnished and decorated in traditional French style, is set in large grounds, including a small lake* and features an attractive sunny terrace and a 10m x 5m fenced swimming pool. There is a restaurant within walking distance (open Friday & Saturday evenings), a bar and bakery at 1 mile and a supermarket at 2 miles. Situated on the outskirts of the town of Lucon, the pretty town centre (5 minutes by car) offers a good choice of restaurants and shops and a market twice a week. The vast sandy beaches of La Faute sur Mer are at only 14 miles and there are plenty of holiday activities and sites to visit in the area.
* The lake is not fenced and in some places there are steep banks or drops to the water's edge. If you have small children in your party, please make sure that you take note of this aspect before booking.
# The capacity is limited to a maximum of 8 adults (+ 2 children).

Accommodation comprises:
Ground floor - Entrance hall, spacious lounge/dining room, separate small lounge, kitchen, large utility room, separate toilet, double bedroom, bathroom (shower over bath).
First floor - Double bedroom, double bedroom, small double bedroom with wash basin, two small single bedrooms (one with wash basin), bathroom (shower over bath), toilet, glazed balcony terrace.
Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV (French channels), DVD. Wi-Fi Internet access. Terrace with garden dining furniture, bbq. Private fenced pool, (10m x 5m with entrance steps, depth 1.3m to 2.3m), games room with table tennis, large grounds with small lake, parking. The owners live in a separate property within the grounds with an independant access.
