La Bossardiere is a character house offering nearness to the coast and easy access to the shops, restaurants and amenities of the town of Lucon. It is furnished and decorated in traditional French style, is set in large grounds, including a small lake* and features an attractive sunny terrace and a 10m x 5m fenced swimming pool. There is a restaurant within walking distance (open Friday & Saturday evenings), a bar and bakery at 1 mile and a supermarket at 2 miles. The pretty town centre of Lucon (5 minutes by car) offers a good choice of restaurants and shops and a market twice a week. The vast sandy beaches of La Faute sur Mer are at only 14 miles and there are plenty of holiday activities and sites to visit in the area.
* The lake is not fenced and in some places there are steep banks or drops to the water's edge. If you have small children in your party, please make sure that you take note of this aspect before booking.
