Buchenois is set in a quiet countryside location perfect for family holidays and get-away breaks. Each cottage is independant and has its own terrace and garden area. The cottages have character interiors and are comfortably furnished. The surrounding grounds include acres of meadows and woodlands in which to stroll and relax, whilst watching the wildlife of this unspoilt retreat.
The shared facilities include a large fenced heated pool (12m x6m, depth 1m to 1.8m), billiard room, table tennis, table football and children's play area. There is horse riding available for experienced riders, pony and trap excursions and accompanied pony rides for children, by arrangement with the owners.
The beautiful beaches of the Vendee coast are just a short drive away (7 miles) as is the village of St Michel en l'Herm (5 miles) offering shops, restaurant and bar. The pretty town of Lucon (8 miles) provides a good choice of shops, supermarkets, twice-weekly market and further restaurants. The local baker delivers to Buchenois daily.

FOR SLEEPING 8: All on the ground floor - Double bedroom, three twin bedroom (one can be made wide double on request), two shower rooms, two separate toilets.
*FOR SLEEPING 10: Further large bedroom available with two singles, en-suite shower room with toilet. Access for this bedroom - door from the cottage into the adjacent hall (see plan), then spiral staircase up from the hall to this bedroom (ie not suitable for young children).

Spacious open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen. Well equipped, including dishwasher, microwave, etc. Utility with washing machine. Satellite TV, DVD, Wi-Fi broad-band Internet. Large lawn garden, terrace with garden dining furniture & bbq. Mixed electric & central heating. Separate parking. Blankets, square pillows with pillow cases supplied. Pool open and heated from 2/5 to 26/9.
