This exceptional farmhouse has been delightfully renovated using traditional materials and offers top quality accommodation with a stylish interior. It benefits from attractive enclosed gardens and a private heated pool, making it ideal for family holidays. The pool has a sliding enclosure– easily opened fully on fine days, whilst allowing bathing under cover when required and also ensuring the safety of young children. Perfect for holdays outside the main summer weeks when you may be more unsure of the weather...
The house is situated on a quiet lane in a rural hamlet just outside the pretty village of La Gaubretiere. It's just 1 mile to the village centre, where you will find a selection of shops, amenities and bars.
The town of Les Herbiers is at just 6 miles, offering supermarkets, shops, restaurants and a weekly market. The surrounding area is delightful rolling countryside, offering sleepy villages to explore and many interesting sites to visit, giving a taste of authentic "real France" yet within easy reach of the coast (Les Sables d'Olonne, La Tranche sur Mer and St Jean de Monts are each just an hour away). The chateaux and vineyards of the Loire valley are accessible for day trips (Angers 1 hour) and the famous history theme park of "Le Puy du Fou" is nearby.

Accommodation comprises:
Spacious open-plan lounge/dining room with kitchen. Double bedroom. Double bedroom. Bedroom with two singles (can be made double) plus two bunk beds.  Two shower rooms, each with toilet. Terrace with dining furniture and BBQ. Large garden. Private heated pool (9m x 4m with entrance steps), sliding pool enclosure. Covered games area with ping-pong table.
Facilities include:  Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, TV (French channels) and DVD with home-cinema sound, cot, high chair, under-floor heating, linen included. Wi-Fi Internet access.

NOTE: For this property we are very often asked whether the pool is for sole use - YES IT IS. Neither the pool, nor the gardens, nor any part of the property is shared.
