Le Fournil is a beautifully restored former bake-house, situated on the edge of the pretty village of La Gaubretiere, within walking distance of the shops and amenities. Just 6 miles from the town of Les Herbiers (supermarket, restaurants, weekly market). The village is set in an area of delightful rolling countryside, offering sleepy villages to explore and many interesting sites to visit, giving a taste of authentic "real France" yet within easy reach of the Vendee coast (Les Sables d'Olonne, La Tranche sur Mer and St Jean de Monts are each just an hour away). The chateaux and vineyards of the Loire valley are accessible for day trips (Angers 1 hour) and the famous history theme park of "Le Puy du Fou" is nearby. The property includes a charming kitchen/dining room featuring the centuries-old bread oven. There is a secluded sunny terrace, paved with terra-cotta, a fenced swimming pool area and a large lawn for children's games.

Ground floor - Kitchen/dining room, separate lounge, utility room, double bedroom, shower room, separate toilet. First floor - Double bedroom, twin bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet. Private heated pool (9m x 4m, depth 1,0m to 1,70m, with entrance steps, fence and safety alarm), terrace with garden dining furniture, BBQ. dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, TV (French channels), DVD, Hi-Fi, Wi-Fi Internet connection, electric heating. Pool open and heated between 28th April and 29th September.
