La Grange Fleurie - comfortable Vendee cottage sleeping 4 to 5, heated pool
'La Grange Fleurie" is a lovely character cottage, set in the hamlet of Lande-Ragonneau in the attractive countryside of the 'Bocage Vendeen', yet within easy reach of town amenities of Les Herbiers. The property has been carefully renovated to offer comfortable accommodation for 4 to 5 and has an attractive lounge/dining room with terra-cotta floor, exposed beams and direct access to the sunny terrace by the patio doors. The cottage is next door to the owners' house (some English spoken) yet has its own pleasant garden area, leading on to the shared grounds, table tennis and the heated pool (occasional use of the pool by the owners - priority to guests!) The pool has a wooden deck area and is surrounded by a fence and gate.Just over 3 miles takes you to the pretty market town of Les Herbiers which has a good selection of shops and restaurants as well as a hypermarket. The nearby village of Beaurepaire (2 miles) provides a bakery, a grocery and a restaurant. The Vendee coast is within easy reach for day trips (Les Sables d'Olonne, St Jean de Monts, La Faute sur Mer- all around 48 miles) and the history theme park " Le Puy du Fou" is nearby - a great family day out, not to be missed...

Ground floor: Open plan lounge/dining room, TV (most English channels), DVD.
Small well-equipped kitchen. Separate toilet.
First floor: Double bedroom with wide four-poster bed. Bedroom with 3 single beds (two 90 cm one 110 cm. Bathroom with shower over bath and twin basins. Separate toilet.
Dining terrace with garden dining furniture and BBQ. Lawn garden, table tennis. Parking.
Semi-sunken timber frame heated swimming pool, 7.4m x 4m, depth 1.2m to 1.45m.
Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, heating. Wi-Fi Internet available. Sheets and towels available for hire. Pool open and heated from 19/5 to 22/9.
