La Haute Mare - Two character stone properties, sharing a heated, fenced pool and large grounds. Each sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. Only 20 miles from the coast. Ideal family holiday destination. Child-friendly.
At La Haute Mare, the traditional farmhouse and the bake-house have been carefully renovated and converted to provide two quality holiday cottages with all the comforts of home;"Les Moissons" & "Les Semailles". They feature exposed stone and beams, traditional tiled floors and modern kitchens and bathrooms. Each cottage sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms and each has 3 bathrooms. Each has its own terrace area and shares the heated fenced pool, the large lawn grounds, covered table tennis, boules, badminton and children's play house. The site is fully enclosed with fences and gates and there is a separate parking area.
La Haute Mare is set in the village of St Aubin la Plaine, within easy reach of lovely beaches and in an area rich in holiday activities & sites to visit. St Aubin has a bar and a shop for basic necessities. The town of Ste Hermine is only 5 minutes away, where you will find restaurants, shops, a supermarket and an excellent market once a week where you can buy fresh fish, seafood and local produce.
The heated pool is 12m x 6m and features a shallow paddling area on the top step, ideal for toddlers. The shallow end is 0.90m deep and the rest is 1.60m deep. The pool is fully fenced for safety and has underwater lights for late night swimming. Pool open & heated from 7th May to 1st October. The owners live on site (some English spoken).
Note - whilst the motorway is not far away, it is well past the far side of the village and there is absolutely no noise or inconvenience.
It is possible to book the pair of cottages together for larger groups, up to 16.

Both cottages can be booked together at any time of the season for accommodating large groups, up to 16 people. A Booking Form for each cottage is required, ie each is subject to it's own letting contract, although these can be in the same name if one person is booking on behalf of the whole group.
