La Grange - family holiday accommodation near the coast (La Tranche sur Mer), sleeping 5, large shared pool.

This delightful cottage offers an excellent family holiday venue, sharing a large fenced swimming pool* and being only 7 miles from the sandy beaches of La Tranche sur Mer. Set in the heart of the pretty village of La Jonchere, it is only a 1 minute walk down the shady path to the shop/bar for bread and basic necessities. At the nearby village of Angles (3 miles) you will find a good supermarket, village shops, bar and restaurant, craft gallery. There is a highly recommended restaurant at nearby St Cyr en Talmondais (3 miles) and endless further choice at the coast. At the coast you will find many holiday activities, including water sports, sailing, jet-skis, go-karts, forest walks, cycle hire, indoor fun-pool, boat trips to La Rochelle and island of Re, and more...
*The two other properties on this site sleep 6 and 4. we may be able to arrange a booking for a pair of cottages together for larger groups - please enquire.

Accommodation comprises:
Large open-plan lounge/dining room with fitted kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave, etc), satellite TV, DVD, double bedroom, bedroom with bunks and single bed, shower room (washing machine), separate toilet. Covered terrace - ideal for relaxing on hot days and fenced with gate for peace of mind with young children. Garden dining furniture. BBQ. Off-raod parking. Electric heating.

Shared fenced pool (12m x 6m, depth 0.9m to 1.5m) with entrance steps, safety gate and alarm. Pool-side terrace and shaded dining area with further bbq and and table tennis. In the grounds there is shared garden area with swings and slide #.
Please note that the pool is closed from 8.30pm each evening. Pool opening dates - 28/4 to 29/9.
