La Logis de La Mariniere provides spacious family accommodation in an authentic rural setting.
It is situated in the farming hamlet of La Mariniere, within easy reach of the beaches of the Vendee coast and just 11 miles from a lake with beach and leisure facilities at Apremont. 3 miles takes tou to the village of Le Poire sur Vie, offering basic shops, bar and restaurant. 12 miles takes you to La Roche sur Yon, the 'capital' town of the Vendee which offers a wide choice of shops, hypermarkets, bars and restaurants, summer events and an indoor fun-pool.

Well situated for visiting the Vendee coastline, being just 22 miles from the coastal resort of St Gilles Croix de Vie (attractive fishing port, sandy beaches) and within easy reach of Les Sables d'Olonne and St Jean de Monts. You will find many holiday activities and places to visit in the area, including the island of Noirmoutier (40 miles) accessed by the famous causeway at low tide and boat trips to the beautiful island of Yeu (1 hour by boat from St Gilles).

As well as a lovely spacious interior with 6 bedrooms, the property benefits from an attractive sunken pool area which is a superb sun-trap (pool closed with safety gate - see photo).
Four bedrooms are en-suite, including one on the ground floor which is also suitable for reduced mobility guests. No interior steps on the ground floor, slope for access to pool area.

When let for smaller groups at reduced rates, the downstairs bedroom is not made available unless specifically needed for reduced mobility guests.

* The gated pool area offers a convenient measure for child safety but is backed up by reinforced pool cover in order to comply with the regulations.
