Pretty character cottage with pool, offering ideal family accommodation in a rural setting, sleeping 6, or available for sleeeping 4 at reduced rates.

Set in attractive gardens in a rural hamlet, this charming 3 bedroom cottage offers quality accommodation for up to 6 people. It is just over a mile from the village of St Prouant (basic shops, bar/restaurant, tennis), 4 miles from a lakeside restaurant and 7 miles from the pretty medieval town of Pouzauges (market, shops, supermarket, restaurants). It is an excellent base for exploring the charming countryside of the 'Bocage Vendeen', with it's historic villages, and numerous holiday attractions, including the famous history theme park of Le Puy du Fou.

The nearest beaches of the Vendee coast are at 44 miles and so are easily accessible for day trips. There is also the nearby lake Rochereau (6 miles) which has a beach for bathing. The cottage has it's own terrace and small garden and shares a heated fenced pool, and further grounds with B&B guests. Pool open 26th May to 29th September.

Accommodation comprises:
Ground floor - Open plan lounge / kitchen /dining, with compact fitted kitchen. Shower room. Separate toilet. Large double bedroom with en-suite shower room with toilet*.
First floor - staircase leading to a double bedroom, staircase leading to twin bedroom.
Includes: Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, satellite TV (some international channels in English), DVD, central heating, garden dining furniture, bbq.
BROAD-BAND INTERNET AVAILABLE.
Shared heated pool (10m x 5m, depth 1.1m to 1.6m).

*When let for 4 people at the reduced rate the downstairs bedroom is not made available.
