Le Domaine des Plantes is a fabulous family holiday venue, offering comfortable accommodation with a stunning heated swimming pool and is set on a quiet lane in a rural hamlet at just a 10 minute drive from the coastal resort town of St Gilles Croix de Vie. The nearby village of Commequiers (1.5 miles) provides a handy selection of shops, supermarket, a weekly market, 2 bakeries, 3 bars and 2 restaurants.
The property is equipped to a high standard and includes a spacious lounge/dining room with view to the pool and a big flat-screen TV with English channels, a separate kitchen with large cooking range, american fridge and breakfast table, a sauna and a jacuzzi, as well as dramatic outside lighting and a covered bar/barbeque area for evening entertaining.
The superb swimming pool is a free-form design where the shallow water laps directly onto the terrace. The round jacuzzi is integrated into the pool and has programmable underwater lighting for relaxing under the stars.
For those with young children, the pool area is equipped with an electronic optical perimeter alarm - see photo below. In addition to from the generous sun terrace area and lawn, the property has large meadows to stroll around.

All on the ground floor (some internal steps): Entrance to open-plan lounge/dining room with bar. Separate kitchen with breakfast table. Utility room. Lobby/ shower room and sauna, leading to main double bedroom. Separate toilet. Double bedroom and children's room (2 single beds and 2 bunk beds) next to further bathroom (bath, double basins, toilet).
Includes: Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, freezer, wine chiller cabinet, built-in barbeque and covered bar area, satellite TV (most English channels) DVD, Wi-Fi Internet, central heating. Private heated pool,approx 8m x 6m (11m to the edge of the shallow area), depth 0 to 1.30m, jacuzzi, sauna, terrace with garden dining furniture and sun-loungers, garden and meadows, boules, off-road parking (electric gates). Sheets and towels included.
Pool open 28/4 to 6/10. You are recommended to take up the cleaning option on this property.
