Whilst we endeavor to make this site as widely compatible as possible, these days the vast number of combinations of device, browser, settings, and fire-wall mean that some users may not have full facilities or correct display.  
 
WINDOWS Users

  In later version of WINDOWS and Internet Explorer your computer settings may block some "active content" functions on websites and not allow you to see all this site correctly, but this is simple to fix...

The following functions may be affected:
Expanding menus and lists
Location Maps
Facilities for babies & toddlers
Booking Forms
Terms and Conditions
Panoramic photos

If you see an 'information bar' at the top of the browser window which says -
"Internet Explorer has restricted the
display of the active content of this file "
Click on the information bar,
then select "Authorise/allow the content",
then confirm "Yes"

Note that this is simply to allow Java Script which runs the selection lists or opens a new re-sized browser window. There is NO RISK from our site, it does not contain any unwanted content, adware, pop-ups, etc, nor anything presenting a risk to your computer.
 

 
 
MAC Users

  Some MAC users find that the drop-down lists run off the bottom of the screen and won't scroll.
If you scroll the down the page before opening the drop-down list, this usually allows you to see the whole list.
Photographic images are published to the web standard (gamma 2.2), so will look pale on a Mac system. 		 
 
MOBILE Users

  This site has not been designed for mobile devices (smart-phones, etc) so there will be some zooming and scrolling to see around it, although we have kept the page widths reasonably narrow to make things easier. There should be no major issues with the browsers used on mobile devices or tablets. Note that we have disactivated the automatic re-sizing of text that is present on many mobile phones - this is to prevent a larger text from overflowing or overlapping the intended page spaces.
A mobile version of the site is planned for some time in the near future.

Earlier versions have been known to lock-up when loading the embedded Google Maps, depending possibly on the exact configuration of the system. This problem is not present in Version 8. Some animations are not fluid in Firefox.
