An ideal holiday venue for families with children and for exploring the south-west Vendee, situated on the coast near to the lively holiday resort town of Les Sables d'Olonne. One of the lovely villas on a select family-friendly holiday development. It's a calm gated site with mature gardens and offers you some great additional facilities - a quality restaurant (rated "Excellent" on Trip Advisor), a bar (with morning bakery and breakfast delivery in July and August), a children's playground, cycle hire, tennis, basket-ball and table tennis. The nearest sandy beach of Le Tanchet is at just over a mile (2.5km) and the town centre of Les Sables d'Olonne, with its sea-front beach is at just over 3 miles (5km). You can pre-book cycle hire, making it really easy to get around. There are also plenty of holiday activities and places to visit in the surrounding area (see the local information section below).

Accommodation comprises :
A comfortable, spacious villa with its own garden, dining terrace and private heated pool.
Living / dining room, including TV (may have some international channels). WiFi Internet. Well equipped kitchen (including hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster).
4 bedrooms.
Ground floor - Double bedroom, double bedroom or twin bedroom, bathroom or shower room, separate toilet.
First floor - Double bedroom or twin bedroom, double bedroom or twin bedroom, or bedroom with bunk beds, shower room with toilet.
"Double beds" are usually two 80cm beds side by side. Single beds are 80cm wide. Bathrooms may have a shower or a bath with shower attachment.
Private garden, private pool (typically 7m x 4m, depth 1.4m), with entrance steps and safety alarm (some villas may have a pool fence or a sliding enclosure). Garden dining furniture, 2 sun loungers. A covered dining terrace, or an awning, or a parasol for shade. A barbecue may be provided at some villas. 1 parking space adjacent to the villa (other parking spaces on the site).
There is a helpful management team on site, speaking English, French, Dutch and German.
Baby equipment available for hire.
Pets are accepted with an additional charge.
The private pool is open from April to the end of September. Pool heating is included for 27/4 to 30/9 and available as an option at €25 per day for other dates (requested at the time of booking). This may be subject to weather conditions in early and late season, with no garantie of temperature.

Start days other than Saturday and non-standard durations are possible outside 6/7 to 30/8.

Ideally situated in the south Vendee, near to Les Sables d'Olonne. On site you will find an excellent restaurant as well as a convenient bar with snacks and bread shop (July and August). There are a couple of nice bar/restaurants at the sea (from 1 mile / 1.5km) and endless choice in the town of les Sables d'Olonne. The nearest supermarket is just over a mile (2.2km). The town offers a lively centre and a vast beach with children's activities (3 miles / 5km). There is also horse riding, a casino, a boating lake, a zoo, spa baths and night clubs. The nearest golf course is at 4 miles / 6km and there are several others in the nearby area.

"Concerning the villa: It was extremely well equipped with coffee maker, the crockery, TVs, barbecue, board games and more… that I cannot list. Everything was perfect and above our expectations. If we had to criticize there were only 2 sunbeds. We bought 2 and left them there. We had a problem with green and opaque water, but which was resolved very quickly. The lawn was parched and a little bare. But all this is minor considering the impeccable equipment of the villa.
Concerning the residence: Perfect! Calm as we wished, good neighbours, the reception efficient, friendly and welcoming. Everything was perfect! In terms of location, the proximity of 2 shopping centres made shopping easy. In short, we could go back!

This is a luxury holiday park. The villas are secluded and separated from each other so it does not feel like you are close to others. Pretty much everything you need is on site, including a great restaurant (one of the top ones in the area) and a snack bar/ bakery shop. There are plenty of activities on site like tennis, table tennis and a large pool. We had our own smaller pool which was great to dip in during the hot weather we had. The coast is very close by and we rented bikes so that we could explore it. We had a very relaxing time here and will probably return." Jonathan.

My family - a group of 14 people ranging in age from 2 years old to 77 - booked two villas for a two week holiday in July. We would definitely go back if we were holidaying in the same area again. The accommodation was perfect with basic but perfectly adequate rooms, big living/dining areas and good pools. The bakery on-site was great - the kids loved getting up early in the morning to go and get the baguettes and croissants for breakfast. The shared playground and swimming pool were also great - a good option if you wanted to get out of the villas. Because it's a gated community it felt very safe and the kids could wander between villas without the worry of fast cars/roads. The local beach was a short drive away and was great for rock-pooling and swimming. We found a great restaurant - Anguilla Beach - which was wonderful when we rolled off the beach at the end of the day in need of a beer and some good food." Tripper27.
